Some members of the press have called Bassem Youssef “an Egyptian Jon Stewart.” Let’s be real, Jon Stewart is “an American Bassem Youssef.”
This badass is a fucking CARDIAC SURGEON, but that level of awesome wasn’t enough, so he became a satirist with his own show “The Program” (in the vein of The Daily Show). He was recently named one of Time’s 100 most influential people for 2013.
And he’s sexy as fuck.
So here’s a story that will make you lose all hope for humanity, if you haven’t lost it yet. This man is Jalal. He’s Palestinian. His car was torched by Jewish settlers. You see that piece of paper he’s holding? That’s a 1,500 shekel bill ($420) from the Israel Fire and Rescue Services that he’s required to pay. Not only does the State of Israel stand by as these attacks occur on Palestinians every day, but they force the victim to pay for their victimization.

Let’s not forget that a significantly huge number of pro-choice individuals believe in the same hypocritical policies. I’m pretty sure America’s crossed that point where delusional politics was something limited to conservatives only. Just have a look at the “progressive” liberals.

its funny how when somes muslims want to dig a little deeper, people cry conspiracy theory and blame us for being terrorist sympathizers (which, if you didn’t know, most victims of terrorism are muslims, no one is advocating for terrorism), but when glenn beck has an actual conspiracy theory, people perk up and listen
What happened to journalism? People should be questioning government. That’s one of the best things about democracy, that we have the right to know. Journalist these days try to makes news sound like a reality show. Its so hard to find an outlet that is credible because they all keep fucking up.
And of course, despite all this, I would be remiss in not sending my love and condolences to Boston. As an american and a muslim, I grieve with those affected.
Donald Glover talking about the comments he received during his campaign to be the next Spider-Man (x)
“I was talking about it with Dan Eckman, who directed my Bonfire video. Can you imagine that trailer? That would be dope. Like it makes sense… a poor black kid in Queens. Like it just fits.”wow this just broke my heart a little bit

In answer to Kafranbel’s condolences, the people of Boston write a message in solidarity with them and their struggle.
“Boston, bombings represent a sorrowful scene of what happens everyday in Syria. Do accept our condolences.” 19/04/2013
“Friends of Syria, we too hope for the safety of your families and for peace.” 20/04/2013
yes, we need a lot more compassion in this world!
